Present Perfect vs Past Simple

🔀 When to use each tense

Present Perfect = no specific time / result matters now. Past Simple = specific time mentioned / finished action.

Estructura	Ejemplo	Uso
Present Perfect	I have been to Japan.	No dice cuándo (experiencia general)
Past Simple	I went to Japan in 2019.	Dice cuándo (tiempo específico)
Present Perfect	She has lost her keys.	Resultado importa ahora (aún no las encuentra)
Past Simple	She lost her keys yesterday.	Acción terminada con tiempo específico
