Present Perfect: form & use

✅ Have / Has + Past Participle

El Present Perfect conecta el pasado con el presente. Se usa para experiencias, logros y acciones recientes.

For vs. since

For + período de tiempo (for 3 years, for a long time). Since + punto en el tiempo (since 2020, since Monday).

I have lived here for five years. /aɪ hæv lɪvd hɪr fɔːr faɪv jɪrz/ He vivido aquí por cinco años.

She has worked here since 2019. /ʃiː hæz wɜːrkt hɪr sɪns.../ Ella ha trabajado aquí desde 2019.

Already (ya) → afirmativa, antes del participio. Yet (aún/todavía) → negativa y preguntas, al final. Just (acabar de) → afirmativa, antes del participio.

She hasn't arrived yet. /ʃiː ˈhæzənt əˈraɪvd jɛt/ Ella no ha llegado aún.
